Slip/Wall
A wall and not a wall at the same time. Slip/Wall is a barrier that it can be crossed from any point, people can simply go through it. It rearranges itselft to make the person pass then reverts back to the original configration.
How it works
The Slip/Wall is made up of hexagons that are connected together with strings and magnets. These hexagons can be made from any material, transparent or non-transparent depending on the requirements of the space. The size of the hexagons can also very depending on use.
Established Prototype
This prototype is already fully functional on a 1:10 scale from the original design.
The mechanism of the Slip/Wall is simple yet still illuding and mesmerizing .
Organic boundary
The Slip/Wall offers a new interpretation of how we make limits and boundaries, the controlled pinpointed access to everything is challenged here into an edge that can neither be called a wall nor an opening.
