Artwork description:

Location: Beirut - Al-Najmeh Square

Policy: Privatization of public resources

The orientation to private management of public land, services, and spaces pushes the city of Beirut into a very exclusive setting where only the wealthy have the right to the city. As a result, all other segments of the population are marginalized and pushed outside to the edges of the city. In addition to, holding the basic services of the city captive to the ups and downs of the capital margins, which in turn distances the city from its inhabitants and creates an uncomfortable living situation for most of the population.
